![]() ![]() Microsoft is now introducing the “Paste text only” option as a Word keyboard shortcut for Windows and Mac, making it easier to paste text without having to manually remove unwanted formatting.According to Microsoft, the feature will implement the conventional keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V (Cmd + Shift + V on Mac). This means that users with read/write permissions for a document will be opened in Edit even if a link has been shared with them for review. For documents stored in a SharePoint library, the file permission settings for the library take precedence. Sharing a document for review currently works only for documents stored in OneDrive/OneDrive for Business. While this is rare, we also reserve the possibility of completely removing a feature from the product, even if as an Insider you have had the opportunity to try it.
